What a beautiful week we have had fishing at this stunning lake.
Fishing was steady in the morning, quiet in the afternoon, possibly due to the high temperatures and steady and sometimes manic in the evenings between 8 and 10 pm.
Thank you to Kristian or his assistance, when we caught three fish within minutes of each other.
The Gite is a lovely place to stay and the food package was great. Plenty of great dishes and desserts and a filling baguette for breakfast.
Thank you both for being great hosts and it was a pleasure meeting you. We will definitely be making a return trip.

This is my second time to this amazing place. It was a pleasure to see how well the lake has matured since 2016, a testament to Graham and Clares hard work and dedication. Once again the facilities are second to none and the gite which housed me and my friends was homely and extremely comfortable. Massive shout out to Clare for her amazing food and generosity in providing complimentary cocktails and ice cream on a warm day. The fish were in fantastic condition and it was a pleasure to grace some on the bank (including a PB). We will definitely be back. Massive thanks again Graham and Clare!

A brilliant break, lodge was clean and tidy. Fishing a little tough at the start of the week but picked up. Amongst others, 3 x 40's to 48lb!

A Fantastic place with great owners. Fishing became hard at the end of the week due to weather change but still, PB's smashed 4 times within the week! Will 100% be back! Loved the Nail game!

Third trip to this little piece of paradise - so welcome after the last 18 months!! As ever Graham and Clare were the perfect hosts, who can never do enough for you. Had some lovely weather so mum and I could do what we do best (sunbathing) and Mark enjoyed having the lake to himself although 6 fish was not as high as he had hoped. Roll on 2022 when we'll be back again. Amanda, Jan and Mark.

Because we went on a fishing holiday with our wife and our babies for the first time, we opted for a fishing water with a luxurious house.
And what a fun week we had with the 6 of us!
After a warm welcome we were given a tour of the house and along the lake. We noticed that everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We repeatedly said to each other “What a passion!”
The house with two bedrooms, a bathroom etc. is very cozy and really gives the feeling of staying in France. Because we didn't catch a lot at night and hooked a lot of fish during the day, we slept 'at home' for a few nights.
After breakfast we went after the beautiful carp from the beautiful swims and the women enjoyed the sun, their 'crochet' work and the hot tub !
The fishing week went 'formidable'! First of all, it was going to rain all week, but we were often surprised by a cloud and a sun ⛅️ And as far as the fish catches are concerned, we really hit it 'magnefique'!
-42 all beautiful fish!
-Four 20kg+ fish! (Unfortunately 2 doubled)
-Largest 21.7kg!
-25 out of 42 over 15kg!

Fantastic people: Graham has done everything he can to unburden us. He was involved, but definitely not too involved. Nothing was too crazy, you texted and he came (be it for a nice fish, to facilitate scooping a fish, to bring a bait boat when ours stopped, to end pick up and take to the car during the week, etc.)
Okay this story may sound too très bien, therefore 1 catastrophe: they are so full that you have to wait way too long to come back! ?

Our first visit and we have had a great time! We have looked forward to this trip for 2 years, unfortunately the parents who were coming along could'nt make it due to the quarantine in the UK which was announced the night before. Our 3 year old was devastated but that all went away once we got here and Graham and Clare welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The kids have loved the space to run wild and the hot tub's lovely too! The fishing has been great despite only fishing limited hours, still managed 9 fish, the biggest being 39lb. Already booked for 2 years time for 2 weeks and we cannot wait to bring the parents along next time. Thank you so much for everything!! See you in 2022. Leah, Tom, Esme and Isla-Mae xxxx

First visit here and it was really incedible, weather wasn't too bad either which is always a bonus. Brilliant week to relax for us girls and the boys with their fishing. Relaxing in the sun and hot tub in the evening, a luxury! Thank you Graham and clare for being so welcoming and being amazing hosts as well as thank you to Teddy for an incredible week. We had a lovely trip to the zoo recommended by Clare and a nice walk around Vire. Even though, annoyingly, we are having to self isolate on our return to the UK the week away here has been worth it. Thank you so much guys :)

FISHING - Weather was really hot with temperatures hitting 38+ which resulted in the fishing being hard with 2 fish dropped and 4 banked which were really lovely fish. Second time here and now booked for the next 3 years. Its a beautiful lake, the swim set up is excellent with all equipment you need and Graham is a great source of help.
NON FISHING - Gite and surroundings are absolutely stunning. Clare and Graham are fantastic hosts! Can't wait for July 21! x

This is our 3rd trip to L'Angottiere, A first class fishery and a beautiful venue! We come with our wives who stayed in the Gite which is absolutely top notch and comfortable. We love coming here and are already booked for the next 2 years. Graham and Clare are fantastic hosts and are always on hand to help. The whole place is spotless and everything you need for a perfect fishing holiday. We had fish to 48/12, mostly in their 30's!

Great week as always! Our 'Happy Place'! Weather could have been kinder but it is October!! Lake was a little quiet with 9 fish in total including my first cat!! First class as always, feels like visiting friends. We are always made to feel so welcome! Really looking forward to our next time. 7 months and counting!! Many thanks xx

We have had absolutely the best time! The 3 men have loved the challenging fishing. Steve has never put so much effort in! Pete and Dave were absolutely delighted with their PB's! Us girls have had such a peaceful potter and OMG the Hot Tub!! it's a must! Clare and Graham, thank you so much, you literally could not have done anymore to make our holiday better! You have a stunning set up! The Gite is cosy and warm and with the added hot tub was absolutely lovely! The lodge is just whats needed for the one's fishing with some respite or to get a hot drink and freshen up. The lake is beautiful and is great to just sit and watch. We have had a very relaxing stay! You are both great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return at some point in the future xx

We all had a fantastic stay with excellent hosts in such a tranquil setting. The accommodation was very good and the whole venue lived up to all the reviews. Couldn't wish for a better fishing holiday (except for a few more fish)!

Well back after a weeks fishing at this fabulous fishery. We had an amazing time from the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from Graham, Clare and teddy really set the tone of the week ahead. 15 fish banked - 11 x 30’s and 4 x 20’s including 2 grass carp! A couple of fish lost as well...
The weather wasn’t the kindest to us and the magical 40lb carp seemed to elude us. I can’t speak highly enough of the work that Graham and Clare have put in to this place it really is a special place and we will definitely back!!

Firstly to Clare, we loved the way you have tastefully designed your Gite from the delicate suitcases in the bedroom to the simple style of furniture and fittings that bring this adorable property together. Dianne loved you barrel log store and the colours from your living room light enhanced the warm felt feeling from the log fire. Well a week I won’t forget, having blanked and I’m sure a week that Nicola and Brendan will never let me forget. Graham you have turned these beautiful properties and lake into one of the best, idyllic and scenic venues in the whole of France. Amazing facilities, your work ethic and attention to detail at every swim I’m sure will bring you the rewards you both thoroughly deserve.

Where do we start? What a fantastic week we have all had here. Graham and Clare are so welcoming and the whole experience makes it a perfect holiday. Accommodation is first class! Leah loved the Lodge to herself and the Gite is gorgeous! Nothing was too much trouble and they have excellent recommendations for days out for those that are not fishing. Gutted next year is booked up but we have booked for 2020 and 2021. Thank you so much

Expectations were exceeded. Beautiful setting, not only for carp anglers but for non anglers (family) to enjoy the peaceful tranquility, comfortable clean accommodation. The lake is well maintained and stocked with some pristine, healthy, strong carp. A carpers paradise!!!
